Wine sampling

A glass of fine wine can do no harm – especially not in our wine cellar.

The grapes for our own wine grow in the sunny vineyards above Abbazia di Novacella in the Valle Isarco. Much dedication and expertise goes into the production of our own white and red wines. Host Christian Baumgartner invites small groups to wine sampling in his wine cellar on special occasions. Our wines are also available in our farm shop and they can be enjoyed here on your holiday or taken back home as a holiday souvenir.

Our red wine is the “Zweigelt“. The wine is characterised by its dark, purple colour, its fruity-spicy fragrance and its intense taste of cherries and berries. Our white wine is a “Kerner“. The characteristics of this wine are its delicate golden-yellow colour and its fresh, fruity taste with a hint of nutmeg, which makes the bouquet especially interesting.
